Genesis
The idea for this site evolved after a doorman
in my friend's building was fired and was interested in finding a new job in
the Chicago
area. I could not find a website that could satisfactorily fill this need for
doormen so I started the new site. I wanted my site, however, to be more than a simple job posting site for
doormen and doorwomen. DoormanWebSite.com now has sections that
include information on doorman fashion and doorman of the month award recipients.
In the future, I will expand the site to include functionality such as doorman
blogs and doorman fantasy sports leagues
